Logo Design

We LOVE designing logos and, as you can see, we have done quite a few! Here we have provided some examples of our recent logo projects to give you an idea of our versatile and creative design capabilities.

We design all of our logos in a vector format which means your logo can be resized without losing quality. Vector-based logos are prefered over bitmap-style logos for their clean look and versatility. Read more on Vector vs.Bitmap below.

Our logo design fee starts at $199.

Bitmaps vs. Vectors

Bitmaps

When you go to a website and see a static image, it is almost certainly a bitmap. Bitmaps (also called "raster images") are made up of pixels—dots lined up next to each other in a grid that represent what you can see on the screen.

This small icon comprises hundreds of pixels

Scaling
Scaling bitmaps is rather problematic. For example, scaling up an image results in additional pixels

being added to the image. This makes the picture's quality much worse.

Vectors

One thing that makes a vector image so distinctive is that it is composed of lines and shapes. The position, scale, width and other properties are based on mathematical formulas, which means vector graphics are usually smaller in file size and have better quality than bitmaps. And, scaling doesn't effect their quality.

To understand just how powerful vector graphics are, look at the image below.

In the image above, there are 8 copies of the QuickTime logo, arranged in an increasing order. The logos in the first row are vectors, while the remaining logos are bitmaps. You can easily see that the logos in the first row have much better quality.

And... they are also much smaller in file size!

Another advantage of vectors is that the image does not loose its quality when it's scaled,

rotated or subjected to any other transformation.
